family of many orisha. Here the artist depicts a popular manifestation in Cuba
combined with Yoruba.
Orisha Oya is associated with the cemetery
and transportation of the soul.
Orisha Obatala is a generic name used for a
family of orisha funfun (of whiteness). This representation combines elements
of Ajaguna with tree of life.
